According to the historical records the first black soccer boots were discovered around 1920. Then, a few years later the world of shoes was transformed through the innovations that was the work of Adolf as well as Rudolf Dassler. The Dassler brothers established their Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory (Gebruder Dassler Schuhfabrik) in Herzogenaurach in 1924. Adolf was able to register his company under the name of adidas AG on the 29th of January, 1949, and that’s how the legend of traditional black soccer shoes began. In 1966, during the FIFA World Cup, 75 percent of the players were wearing Adidas soccer cleats, which is an incredible feat for Adidas AG.
